Community Guidelines

LivX is a platform for real human connection. These guidelines exist to make sure everyone has a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience. Every person using LivX is expected to follow these rules — whether during video calls, in messages, or on their profile.

Breaking these guidelines can result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. We actively monitor the platform to enforce these rules.

Be Real

Use Your Real Identity

  • Only use photos of yourself for your profile picture — no fake photos, celebrity images, or generated images
  • Do not impersonate another person or create fake profiles
  • Do not lie about your age — you must be 18 or older to use LivX
  • Your display name should represent you — no misleading names or impersonation

Profile Photos

  • Profile photos must clearly show your face
  • No nudity, sexually suggestive images, or inappropriate content in profile photos
  • No photos containing violence, weapons, or illegal substances
  • Photos are screened and may be reviewed by our moderation team

Be Respectful

During Video Calls and Messages

  • Treat everyone with respect and kindness
  • No harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation
  • No hate speech, discrimination, or slurs based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
  • No threats of violence or physical harm
  • No unwanted sexual advances or sexually explicit behavior during video calls

No Sexual or Explicit Content

  • Do not expose yourself or engage in sexual acts during video calls
  • Do not send sexually explicit messages, images, or links
  • Do not solicit sexual content from other users
  • Video calls have built-in safety protections to prevent inappropriate content

Keep It on the Platform

No Sharing Contact Information

  • Do not share phone numbers, email addresses, or social media handles (WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Snapchat, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Do not share @usernames or invite others to contact you outside LivX
  • This rule exists to protect both you and other users from scams, fraud, and harassment
  • Attempts to share contact information are detected and may result in account action

Why this rule? Keeping conversations on-platform means our moderation tools can protect you. Once a conversation moves off LivX, we can no longer help if something goes wrong.

Keep It Safe

Prohibited Activities

  • No scamming or fraud: Do not ask for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or financial information
  • No illegal activity: Do not use LivX to promote, facilitate, or engage in any illegal activity
  • No drugs or illegal substances: Do not promote or display drug use
  • No weapons or violence: Do not display weapons or promote violence
  • No self-harm or suicide: Do not promote or glorify self-harm. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please contact local emergency services
  • No spam: Do not send repetitive or bulk messages, or use bots/automated tools
  • No commercial activity: Do not use LivX for advertising, selling products, or promoting businesses without authorization

Protecting Minors

  • LivX is strictly for adults aged 18 and older
  • Any content or behavior involving minors is absolutely prohibited and will result in an immediate permanent ban
  • We report suspected child exploitation to relevant authorities
  • If you encounter someone you believe is under 18, please report them immediately

What Happens When You Break the Rules

We take violations seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of the violation:

Warning

For first-time minor violations, you'll receive a warning. This is your chance to correct the behaviour.

Temporary Suspension

For repeated violations or more serious offenses, your account may be suspended for a period of time (1 day to 30 days).

Permanent Ban

For severe violations (sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, fraud, repeated serious offenses), your account will be permanently banned. Banned devices are also blocked from creating new accounts.

How to Report

If you encounter someone violating these guidelines:

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We may not always be able to share the outcome, but every report is taken seriously.

Your Safety Tips

Do

  • Report anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable
  • Block users you don't want to interact with
  • Keep personal information private
  • Use the built-in safety features for added privacy during calls
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, end the call

Don't

  • Don't share financial information with anyone
  • Don't send money to people you meet on LivX
  • Don't share your login credentials or OTP codes
  • Don't meet strangers in person based solely on LivX interactions without taking safety precautions
  • Don't ignore red flags — if someone is pressuring you, report them
